Rycobel the European partner of Thwing-Albert Instrument Company offered an afternoon demonstration for physical testing. The group that attended the session included laboratory technicians and quality control departments from a variety of industries.
Thwing-Albert has released a dart drop impact tester to the market. This testing instrument will be used to measure the impact resistance of plastic film, coated paper and other sheeted materials.
The JDC Precision Cutter has become the accepted standard for many companies worldwide to prepare samples of paper, paperboard, metal foils, nonwovens, plastic films, tissue and a variety of other materials. Lightweight and portable, the JDC Cutter 10” models have undergone an update adding the feature a 20” length base for added leverage and stability along with operator safety.
In preparation for the new year and in anticipation of continued growth, Thwing-Albert Instrument Company has added a new CNC Machine to our facility keeping production moving forward.
Thwing-Albert’s FP-2255 will be replaced with a new model the FP-2260 Friction/Peel Tester. The new instrument will now run with MAP4 materials testing software allowing for more powerful reporting and compatibility with newer operating systems.
Accurate thickness measurements are critical to product quality in many manufacturing applications such as paper, plastic film, nonwovens, and textiles. Testing can optimize the raw materials for production and ultimately reduce costs.
