What Are DIN Quality Standards?

DIN standards guide research and development and quality laboratories on specific methods to test the physical properties of various materials. The testing is used to determine the material’s quality for manufacturing and end-user applications.

DIN 1939: DIN 1939 describes a testing method to determine the peel adhesion properties of self-adhesive tapes.

DIN 53105: DIN 53105 specifies a paper and board testing method to determine single sheet thickness, bulking density and bulk.

DIN 53357: DIN 53357 describes a method for testing the adhesion of plastic sheets.
