Thwing-Albert Instrument Co. recently expanded its production capacity with the addition of two lathes to its manufacturing facility. The upgrade further reinforces the company’s philosophy of customer satisfaction and increased productivity.
The team selling servicing Thwing-Albert Instruments throughout Thailand and Vietnam visited the United States for some one-on-one training. With the ongoing need for service the team focused on the new instruments and software in order to provide quick response to customer needs.
Rycobel the European partner of Thwing-Albert Instrument Company offered an afternoon demonstration for physical testing. The group that attended the session included laboratory technicians and quality control departments from a variety of industries.
Thwing-Albert has released a dart drop impact tester to the market. This testing instrument will be used to measure the impact resistance of plastic film, coated paper and other sheeted materials.

Lightweight and portable, the JDC Cutter 10” models have undergone an update adding the feature a 20” length base for added leverage and stability along with operator safety.
In preparation for the new year and in anticipation of continued growth, Thwing-Albert Instrument Company has added a new CNC Machine to our facility keeping production moving forward.
Thwing-Albert’s FP-2255 will be replaced with a new model the FP-2260 Friction/Peel Tester. The new instrument will now run with MAP4 materials testing software allowing for more powerful reporting and compatibility with newer operating systems.
