Description
The Geotextile Puncture Fixture is used to determine the static puncture strength of geotextiles and geotextile-related products, following the 50-mm probe method specified in ASTM D6241 and ISO 12236. The fixture consists of a probe and a lower grip sample clamp. A mechanical clamping device secures the test specimen, and the top plate has a circular opening through which the probe penetrates the sample.
This fixture is compatible with the VantageNX Duo Tensile Tester (5kN).
