What Are PSTC Material Testing Standards?

These standards ensure the sound maintenance of materials testing standards for evaluating the physical properties of pressure-sensitive tape. Specific equipment must be used to meet these standards, measuring adhesion at different angles to various surfaces and temperatures. This equipment must be able to measure tack sensitivity for pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSA).

Vantage^NX Tensile Tester: The Vantage^NX Tensile Tester can be used for many different adhesion testing applications that meet standards including PSTC 16, ASTM, D6195, and FINAT FTM 9 loop tack standards with a suitable fixture such as the Loop Tack Fixture.  This universal testing system can be configured various ways with specialized grips and fixtures to test quality indlucding specialized or custom applications.
