This service includes regrinding side blades, furnishing new base shear, and any adjustments that may be necessary.
Please submit your Model # and Serial # when completing a request so we can provide an accurate quotation.
Blades can be reground only three times. After that, they need to be replaced.
All reconditioning services are completed at the Thwing-Albert Instrument Company facility and must be shipped in for service.
An RMA # and instructions will be provided to you once the order for service has been placed.
NOTE: If there are any additional parts that need replacing, these will be charged in addition to the standard service. A spring guard will be added at no additional cost to those cutters that do not already have a spring guard.
