Thwing-Albert Instrument Company’s equipment can be configured to meet the accurate testing standards of nonwovens and provide real-time data analysis. 

  • VantageNX Tensile Tester: This universal testing machine offers quick hand control and can be equipped to meet many testing needs. Grip options can be selected to meet NWSP 100.2.R1, 100.3.R0, 110.1.R0, 110.4.R0, 110.5.R0 as well as various ASTM, DIN, TAPPI and WSP test methods. 
  • Taber Abraser 1750 – Double Head: Suitable for NWSP 020.4.R0, it produces precise wear testing results in a few minutes. With single or dual-platform options available, it also meets ASTM D3884, ISO 17076-1 and ISO 5470 standards. 
  • Gurley 4171 Bending/Stiffness Tester: Complying with NWSP 090.2.R0, ASTM D6125-97 and TAPPI T543 standards, this piece of equipment can evaluate a selection of sizes, weights and thicknesses.
  • Handle-O-Meter: Meet NWSP 090.3.R0. Featuring a touchscreen display and MAP4 Software, this machine also complies with TAPPI T498, ASTM D2923 and D6828-02.
  • Electronic Elmendorf ProTear: Equipped with a configurable touch display for results and reporting, it is applicable to NWSP 100.1.R0, EN 21974, SCAN P11 and many ASTM, TAPPI, BS, DIN and ISO standards.
  • Internal Bond Tester (RL-IBT-A): This machine meets NWSP 110.3.R0, TAPPI T569, and TAPPI T833. It also features a quick sample-changing mechanism and other features.
  • ProGage Touch Thickness Tester: Designed for NWSP 120.1.R0 and 120.6.R0 and configurable to meet most thickness standards, this equipment has excellent features such as multiple test modes, a rigid frame and MAP4 compatibility.
