The TAS223 Round Compression Platens are self-aligning and fixable platens. The have a spherical seat that allows the platen to adjust to the specimen but it is also possible to fix the platen at a required angle with 4 nuts.
Scope of delivery: 1 platen
Temperature range: -70 … + 180°C (aluminum); -70 … +280°C (steel) further temperature ranges on request
TAS223i – for adapters up to 8 -10 mm Ø
- For lightweight specimens (packaging material etc.)
- Aluminum, anodized
TAS223k – for adapters 12 – 25 mm Ø
TAS223g – for adapters 30 – 50 mm Ø
TAS223w – for adapters 50 – 60 mm Ø
TAS223z – for adapters larger than 60 mm Ø
- Applicable for all types of compression tests
- Steel 58 HRC, nickel-plated
TAS223b – big angle version standard adapter Af15.9 mm
- Platens with a large angular displacement of up to ±10°
- Aluminum, anodized (-Al) or steel 58 HRC, nickel-plated (-St)
