Thwing-Albert adds to production capabilities to maintain manufacturing growth.

West Berlin, NJ (October 22, 2013) – Thwing-Albert Instrument Co. recently expanded its production capacity with the addition of two lathes to its manufacturing facility.  The upgrade further reinforces the company’s philosophy of customer satisfaction and increased productivity.

Earlier in 2013, a CNC Vertical Machining Center was added to the machine shop in order to keep pace with demand. Many of the components used in the Thwing-Albert testing instruments are manufactured at the West Berlin plant, resulting in improved scheduling and cost control, thus maximizing value to customers.  The additional lathes further enhance capacity, allowing Thwing-Albert to remain competitive in the material testing instruments marketplace.

Thwing-Albert Instrument Company is an ISO 9001 Certified manufacturer of testing machines for measuring the physical properties of a range of materials.  Research laboratories and quality control departments worldwide in industries including adhesives, paper, packaging, plastics, nonwovens, textiles and tissue testing rely on Thwing-Albert testing equipment.
