The 68-3000 EZ-Cup Vapometer is designed to meet the standard SAE J2655 test procedure which measures water vapor permeability. This model Vapometer consists of a lightweight aluminum cup and an aluminum threaded flanged ring designed with two neoprene gaskets that use a Teflon seal that secures the specimen in place. This Vapometer for SAE J2665 was specifically created to eliminate edge leakage, providing fast, secure sealing of the specimen between the gaskets. Specimens are quickly loaded and sealed in place by twisting the threaded upper aluminum cap in place. Previous Vapometer models required the tightening of multiple screws in order to properly secure a specimen.

Accurate samples for the Vapometer (2.9375 in. dia.) can be quickly prepared using a Circular Steel Die (2.9375 in. dia.) with the 240-7B Alfa Cutter.
