Schopper Riegler Freeness Tester (SR/P)

Description

Measures the rate of drainage of a diluted pulp suspension. The drainage rate is related to the surface conditions and swelling of the fibers. It is widely used to track the changes in the drainage rate of various chemical pulps during beating and refining.

This instrument is principally the same as the CF/A, but the used pulp samples have a lower concentration. The scale is reversed in comparison with the amount of water collected. The SR also features iron cast base including accurate bullseye level and leveling feet for correct installation, stainless steel structure and nickel plated bronze drainage chamber, funnel, spreader cone and sealing cone, Plexiglas safeguard and handle for drainage chamber.
