Thwing-Albert Instrument Company exhibited at NPE2012, the International Plastics Expo, from April 2-4 at the new location in the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL.
Professionals involved in the manufacturing of all types of plastics attended the NPE2012 tradeshow. The show enabled suppliers to meet face to face with customers to demonstrate their capabilities. Thwing-Albert featured several instruments that can be used for materials testing to meet the quality standards specific to plastic manufacturing.
Thwing-Albert was able to provide on-site demonstrations of the new MAP-4 Software that will run the EJA Vantage universal tensile testing series. This new tensile testing software is compatible with Windows 7 and offers more control in a user friendly format.
Additional instruments of interest displayed at NPE2012 included the Spencer Impact Tester for puncture testing, the ProGage Thickness Tester and the FP-2255 Friction/Peel Tester used for measuring the coefficient of friction as well as peel testing. All of these machines were on location allowing for hands-on demonstrations.
NPE2012 was a success for Thwing-Albert Instrument Company. We were able to meet potential new customers and demonstrate our proven testing equipment for use in quality control labs and research and development departments throughout the plastics industry. One new instrument announced from Thwing-Albert was the Dart Drop Tester which will be available for the industry to meet ASTM D1709.
