It is with great sadness that Thwing-Albert Instrument Company and the members of the Thwing-Albert "family" announce the unexpected death of Thwing-Albert President Joseph Raab (71). Joseph began working at Thwing-Albert in 1964 and held various positions culminating in his appointment as President in 1998. In recent years his son, Scott, managed the day-to-day operations as the Executive Vice President.

Joe will be missed. To honor his memory Thwing-Albert will continue the mission of providing quality testing equipment. Scott Raab has assumed the position of president, marking the fourth generation of the family leading the company, which was founded more than 120 years ago.
