Thwing-Albert Employee celebrates 25 years

West Berlin, NJ   Oct 13, 2009

Thwing-Albert, a company rich in heritage, honors employee dedication as Cindy Breeze is recognized for 25 years of service. Ms. Breeze's roll as an electronic assembler is as appreciated as her company history and memories.  When you have been with an organization for as long as Cindy, you bring along with you decades of knowledge and experience as-well-as seeing roles modify and company leadership change hands.  This being said, one of Cindy's fondest memories is meeting and working for Annette Albeck.  Ms. Albeck was the second generation of leadership at Thwing-Albert Instrument Company and the daughter of one of the founders, Edward Albert.  Cindy shared: "Ms. Albeck was an amazing, one of a kind person.  She was very intelligent and sincerely cared about everyone in the company.  I feel very fortunate to still  be able to work for  Ms. Albeck’s  family, who have carried on her traditions "  This sentiment echoes in the halls of Thwing-Albert as Annette will always be revered and fondly remembered.  On this note it is with gratitude that Thwing-Albert, as a family, says thank you to Cindy Breeze for being a loyal member.

West Berlin,  NJ  Oct 16,2009

Thwing-Albert is pleased to announce that the FP-2250 COF Friction Peel Tester now features a  Heated 90 Degree Peel Fixture.  The fixture has the capability to heat up to 350 F° (177° C).   Thwing-Albert has offered a standard 90 Degree Peel Fixture for many years, but now we have added the heating element as an option.  To perform the test, an adhesive tape is applied to a sample plate attached to the 90 degree fixture, and clamped in a manual grip connected to the moving crosshead.  As the moving crosshead moves, the 90 degree peel fixture moves as well to maintain a 90 degree angle.
