The Heated Platen is designed to allow users to measure coefficient of friction or peel strength analysis at elevated temperatures up to 350°F (176°C).

This is an invaluable tool to evaluate the effects of temperature will have on a materials adhesive or COF properties. Featuring an intuitive, independent temperature controller, it can be added seamlessly to any Thwing-Albert tensile tester and can be easily adapted for use on non Thwing-Albert test frames.

The Heated Platen is supplied with the test platen, temperature controller, 180 degree peel hook and (6) #225-0479 stainless steel test plates.

**A COF sled is note included and must be purchased separately.
